Quick update
Hi all.
Thanks to everyone who posted, and I'm so glad we got the posting fixed! It's good to know you read our blog.
Sorry to have been remiss in my posting habits lately. We are trying to get ready for our trip to Oklahoma and recently realized how much WORK that entails! Also...since James figured out he could walk this past Monday (!) we have been extra-super-hyperbusy with him. In case you haven't heard already, here's what has happened on that front:
Last week, James began taking steps from place to place on his own, but he only did it 2 or 3 times and never NOTICED that he was doing it. If he realized it, then he fell down. But on Monday. he started to walk and noticed he was doing it and looked at me like Holy Cow, Mom! Look what I can DO! And then he started laughing with joy and toddling all around the room. He fell on his little tushie quite a lot that day, but also learned how to stand up unassisted from the floor (lots of said tushie up in the air for that maneuver). Then the next day he walked alone on the sand, which we felt was a pretty big accomplishment...And by Friday he could pretty much walk across the room. Now, granted, it might take him forever to do it....but he can! And there is nothing cuter than a toddling little toddler.
We were going to post a video that we took of him on Monday, but Ben can't get it onto the computer yet...so we'll let you know when that finally happens. If there is other news around here besides the walking and our upcoming trip, my mind is too occupied with those things to think of it. I'll try to post again before we leave with some pictures and things. Oh! I know something I was proud of that I wanted to tell everyone, that's probably not a big deal to anyone but me...I was babysitting Olivia yesterday and the kids were both needing naps but not willing to stop paying attention to each other to fall asleep...so I put them BOTH in slings! That's right, I wore two babies at once. I am SO COOL! =)
Okay, that's all for now. Peace and love. Until next time.

Just when you thought having James couldn't get anymore fun....now he toddles! Can't wait to see him do this, and everything else. He's growing so fast. sigh.
Susan, you are so amazing! I guess you can do anything! Oh, I already knew that! Love you all bunches, Mom S.
Good job James! Snorri is starting to say a few words, most of who translate to stop, no, self, ... we're starting the independece battle over here! Have a good trip to Oklahoma!
-Elin and Snorri.
