Boo, bad internet connection!

So, now I've been trying to upload pictures on and off for approximately 24 hours! Grrr...

I just went ahead and sent out a few of the cutest pics on my email, so if you want to see that and didn't get it, let me know.

As for what we've been up to lately....I wanted to let everyone know that James did two very important things:
1. Yesterday, he looked at himself in the mirror AND LAUGHED! First time for that, and can I think of anything cuter? Nope!
2. Today...he was playing with his toys on the floor, which he likes to do because he is really working on the whole crawling thing...and he made HIMSELF laugh by just playing with his toys. This kid is so amazing, I love it!

Also, we had a Halloween outfit all decided on, but then we were in Target and looking at all their Halloween stuff they had out, and James saw his outfit (difficult to say whether it's a duck or a chick so take your pick) and got the hugest grin on his face, so, like suckers, we had to get it for him.

We just recently realized also that it will only be a few more weeks before Grandma and Grandpa D are here...so exciting! And then Christmas and my mom will be visiting before we know it. I still can't believe how much faster time flies by since James was born, even though it was already flying along before he got here. He is so big! On our Monday walk, I put him in a 6-12 month outfit--and the hat was too small!

Okay, that's all for now. Maybe I'll try for pictures again later. No guarantees I'll ever get it to work, though! Boo.

Love to all.

Hi--
I just taked to Grandma D. and told her how much I've been enjoying your site these last couple weeks. Such an adorable baby!!!
She did ask if I had any info. about the name James. Sorry to say that it isn't a very common name. The only notable individual was James Roosevelt--born 1828, died 1900. His wife Sara Delano was Bens 6th cousin, 6 timies removed. Their son was FDR. This relationship comes from the Grandma (Woodward) Erney side of the family. The Woodwards came to American in 1634.
Life in Wisconsin is quiet. We're working on Amy's wedding--you can check their page on theknot (Amy Petersen). Amy is flying home between Christmas & New Years to make more reception plans.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with the family! I know that Grandma is looking forward to seeing everyone!
Take Care--Love Aunt Katie
