Trip to the park

Not very long ago, we made a special trip out to one of the larger parks in the Triangle Area, hiked around and just enjoyed the sunshine and what-not. And then when we got home, we couldn't find the camera anywhere! We thought we'd lost it forever. We couldn't find it in the house or the car, and the next day it poured rain, so we figured there was no hope.

But luckily, that was not the case. The entire time, the camera was just sitting on the desk, 5 inches from our faces, screaming at us: WHAT? AM I INVISIBLE HERE? HELLOOOO?!?!

And now you are going to benefit from our discovery of our own idiocy.

The Boy walked (ran, skipped, hopped, tripped...) quite a bit while we were out there. Our philosophy is to run him ragged during the day so he sleeps like a log at night. So far, our results have been so-so. But what's important is that we believe it works. So we keep on truckin'.

By the way, do you think it was a little sunny?

And do you think those two might possibly be related?

What a great day.

I am so blessed to have them and to have this life.
