It's over? Already?

Well, our Thanksgiving was great...I got to take naps whenever I wanted! I'm actually, for the first time I can remember, having some serious post-holiday letdown...or stress...or whatever you want to call it where I feel cranky and edgy because I'm the only one taking care of things at home BY MYSELF ALL DAY LONG AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Christmas, and grandparents, can't get here soon enough. Happy Belated Thanksgiving everyone!

Another Day, Another...Wait, What Was I Saying?

I don't really have much to say today, except that I didn't win the Moby wrap, and I am so tired. Just. So. TIRED! What is the deal with that? I remember having pregnancy fatigue with James, but this is like 3-naps-a-day, can't-make-myself-get-off-the-couch, guilty-because-James-really-wants-me-to-get-up-but-I-can't exhaustion.

Oh well. I guess that's just called pregnancy while parenting a 3.5-year-old. And being diabetic. And having a puppy. And maybe, sometimes, staying up waaaay too late to watch the horrible but also horribly addictive The Tudors series from Showtime. It's awful, people, but that doesn't mean I don't want to watch more! ;)

Also...I have REALLY been feeling baby kicks lately, which is awesome, because with all the fatigue and puking and time flying and such, the whole baby-on-the-way thing was feeling a bit surreal. I am LOVING the kicks. Keep it up, Baby B! (Or, as my friend Rachel called him the other day...Cletus the Fetus. I'm sure someone somewhere has even considered that as a potential name for their child. Oh, the horror.)

Okay, off to take my first nap! ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.............

Also

I completely forgot that this is NaBloPoMo, and thus, haven't posted a single other time this month. Oh well. There goes my three years in a row.

In other news, I decided today to enter a bunch of giveaways because, hey! we're having another baby! we need more stuff!

But no, seriously, I NEED more babywearing options. So here are the contests I've entered. And yes, I'm blogging about this so that I don't forget which contests I entered and when they're due. That's right. Laziest Blogger Ever? Totally me. But come on! I don't even have internet access at home! What else am I supposed to do?

Anyway.

I got the idea for entering a lot of these contests from a blogger I always enjoy reading, Hobo Mama, so thanks, and congrats on the blogiversary, Hobo Mama! Also, she's having a giveaway, and I'd love to win her homemade mei tai, because you can never have enough fleece! I made my own fleece wrap for James but a mei tai is much handier when the kiddo gets bigger. The giveaway ends November 20.

At J. leigh designz, you can enter to win an awesome airport set from Plan Toys. Also, if you want to get my children any presents, at any time, Plan Toys? Always a safe bet. They have awesome stuff. I love them. It also happens to be nontoxic and environmentally friendly and all that. Just so you know. This giveaway ends November 25.

From Just for Me...and You, I've entered to win a Moby Wrap, the only absolute necessity for a new tiny newborn besides, you know, a mommy. Or maybe it's that it's a necessity for said mommy. Either way, I gotta have one, and The Baby's Bundle might let me have one if I win this contest! I'll have to remember to check back on November 18 to see if I won, or if I have to beg someone to buy me one instead.

At Familylicious reviews, I get the chance to win a fabulous ring sling from Sleeping Baby Productions. I borrowed one of these slings for a couple months when James was a tiny toot and I looooooooooooooooved it. I had a hard time giving it back. Another excellent baby shower gift, for me or anyone else, really, in case anyone's interested. The winner of this contest will be posted on December 14.

Okay, that's all I can do because I only get so much time on the internet these days. Sigh. You know what I want for Christmas? Internet access. Is that really so hard?

Crap. I thought so. Okay, well, ta-ta for now, and we'll meet again someday soon. I think.

Time flies and such

So, here I am, 19 weeks along, and I'm really just flabbergasted. How the heck did I get halfway through this pregnancy already? And why do I still have morning sickness?

The answers to these questions remain elusive. But there is one answer I do have now, thanks to a crack-of-dawn-Thursday-morning ultrasound: BOY!

And no, we do not have any names picked out. But give us a break...we have half the pregnancy left to come up with something! And it can't possibly go as quickly as the first half....right? RIGHT?
