Serious about being a chef

Three-year-olds are the best, the most helpful and interested little critters! He seriously chopped up all our mushrooms for our omelets the other day. And he was so proud of himself! As he should be.

God, I love being his mama.

This is the poochie-poo that we have to find a new home for. This is the poochie-poo that we have known for what, three weeks? a month? that we have to find a new home for, but who is still living with us. And THAT, my friends, is even harder than the giving-him-away part. I really, really hope we can find him a good home....NOW, because it is breaking my heart to have him still with us, and to have to keep talking with James about how he has to have a new home but NOT HAVE IT HAPPEN! Ugh.

Also, it's rainy and yucky and that always makes me tired. It was SO NICE this weekend. I need a little sun. Or maybe a lot of sun.

Oh, James has to go pee and we're at the library so see ya!

Work, Explained At Long Last

I can't believe I posted all that last time and forgot to tell you what James said a meteorologist does. The other day he told me he wanted to play Work, so he got his "work clothes" on, which consisted of every piece of jewelry he could find in the whole house, a very pimp-like meteorologist if you ask me, and then he pretended I was already in the office and came in and said good morning to me. I said hello back, and then said, "So what's your job? What do you do?" and he said, "I'm a meteorologist. I give chocolate to children and I go to meetings. About training."

Too, too right, kid. It was hilarious.
